Are you our new Magento developer?
There is a growing demand for solutions in Magento amongst our customers. Hence, we are looking to expand our PHP department with yet another developer to solve tasks in Magento.
We are looking for a PHP developer who wants to work with Magento development. We have very skilled colleagues in the Magento area and are looking to expand the department with a colleague who can further strengthen our team. You may very well have years of experience in PHP development, and if you have professional experience with Magento, this is definitely positiv - but it is not an ultimate requirement.
The position offers tasks within planning, development and maintenance of various Magento solutions for our customers. You get the opportunity to give and recieve professional feed back with the other 17 employees in the PHP department and will work in close cooperation with them. The PHP department handles large Danish and international clients such as Røde Kors, Dyrenes Beskyttelse, VVS-Eksperten and ProffOutlet.
The position will include work in both Magento 1, Magento 2, open source and commerce editions. The tasks will vary and range from frontend adjustments to heavier development tasks, integration with external systems, migration from Magento 1 to 2 etc. In other words, there are all types of development tasks in the Magento department. The tasks are distributed among the developers based on their respective competency-sets. We value an individual with a critical mindset and a good ability to problem-solve very highly, but we are also aware that one does not necessarily embrace all aspects from day one.
Knowledge of Magento 2 will be an advantage, but not a requirement, and areas you will eventually be able to tick off are the following:
- Magento 2 Knockout JS
- Magento 2 PWA
- Magento 2 GraphQL
- Magento 1 -> Magento 2 migration tool
- Magento Cloud
- Zend / Laminas framework
We also work with various other technologies and areas such as
- Elastic Search
- Pipelines (CI / CD)
- Magento 2 deployment procedure
The PHP department works in: Magento, Drupal, Symfony, WordPress and native PHP, where we work with large Danish as international companies and provide total solutions in everything from digital strategy through design and UX to development, hosting and online marketing. Within content-heavy sites, ecommerce and custom APIs.
